Chris Verhoef in Financieel Dagblad: Corona policy should be based on mathematical models

RIVM's (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) calculation models aren't appreciated enough, says Chris Verhoef. His calculations proved that the institute kept making right decisions. According to Verhoef doubts about the RIVM arose only after the doctors, entrepreneurs etc. had gotten involved. RIVM's researchers are clever and have done a good job, but the mathematical insights can only be an asset to shaping policy.
