Kasadaka project nominated for the Amsterdam Science and Innovation Award 2018

The Kasadaka project, a platform to deploy voice-based web technologies in internetless, low resource environments, such as rural Africa, developed by André Baart, Victor de Boer and colleagues, and deployed in the field in Mali, at Radio Sikidolo in Konobougou, has been nominated, as one of the five finalists in the Amsterdam Science and Innovation Award 2018. The finale will take place on Tuesday 19 June 2018 at the Auditorium of VU Amsterdam, De Boelelaan 1105, 1081 HV, Amsterdam. The winner will receive a 10.000 EUR grant. For more click here.
